Crewe Police Cadets Join Our Cheshire Police Family
Good afternoon,
Over this past week, three of your local Crewe Police PCSO's were trained in additional Safeguarding and Safety training qualifications to run another year of Crewe Police Cadet's.
We will be starting off our new Cadet Year online this year due to COVID-19, but still look forward to the prospect of the Cadet's being able to engage with and in our community in the near future.
We have been overwhelmed with applications and those successful have heard back from our recruitment team, so well done to all who have received their offer.
2019 was our first year as a Cadet unit, but regardless of it being our first it was a very successful year. We featured on BBC One Show with our Police 'Road Safety and Hate Crime' inspired Ice Cream Van after working alongside the incredible World Leading Ice Cream Van Traders, Whitby Morrison, and also held Cheshire Constabulary's first Cadet Residential. Our Cadet's, free of charge were taken white water rafting, paddle boarding along the Menai Strait and went snow tobogganing.
