Catalytic Converter Thefts
The precious metal found in catalytic converters has led to an increase of thefts around the country.
Protect your car by...
-Asking your car dealer about advice on locks and guards that are approved by the car manufacturer
-Mark your converter with a forensic marker
-Park your car somewhere well-lit, overlooked, and among as many other vehicles as possible. Try to park so that the converter can not be easily reached, for example close to a wall or fence.
