Do Not Use Your Mobile Whilst Driving
Good Morning.
It’s a well-known fact that using a mobile phone while driving is one of the main contributory factors in a fatal collision. We will be out looking for anyone taking a call, texting or scrolling through their phone while driving.
Drivers who use mobile phones behind the wheel are four times more likely to be involved in a collision. Leave your phone well out of sight. It’s not worth dying for.
The majority, if not all, road users know that it is against the law to use their mobile phone while driving, yet some still decide to do it anyway. Many people even try and hide it down by their laps in a bid to avoid being caught. There is no excuse.
If caught using your mobile phone while driving, you will face the prospect of a £200 fine and six penalty points on your licence and, if you’re a new driver, you could lose your licence. That call/text/post on social media is not worth dying for.
If you think you could be tempted to look at your mobile phone, then leave it well out of reach. That call/text/post on social media is not worth dying for.
