‘Saturday Café’ is up and running at St Andrew’s Church on Bedford Street in Crewe. The café is open every Saturday from 12pm to 1:30pm. There are drinks and food including soup, sandwiches & cakes for sale. Items are available individually along with meal deals: three courses = £3 and a kid’s box = £1. There is also background music to listen to and magazines to read and a play zone for children. Everyone is welcome. The Saturday Cafe is supported by grant funding from Cheshire East's public health participatory budgeting programme.
