Fundraising for Vicki

Vicki

Birchwood firefighter Vicki Griffiths recently had a serious accident in the gym, which has so far left her unable to feel or move from the waist down.

This brings Vicki a new challenge, so firefighters, staff and volunteers are fundraising to help with the cost of home and vehicle adaptations and other expenses to help her to live her life to the fullest.

Blue Light Open Day

On Sunday 16 July the doors of Cheshire Constabulary HQ will be thrown open for the public to see the good work that Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service and Cheshire Police do around the clock.

The Blue Light Open Day is a hugely popular event that gives people a unique, behind-the-scenes look at the outstanding work of the county’s emergency services will run from 11.30am to 4.30pm.

Due to the growing popularity of the event, this year it will be ticket only. This is to manage the number of visitors, ensuring everyone can enjoy the day in a comfortable environment.
