Cheshire campaign success
Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service is celebrating after the Government announced that it is bringing in new safety laws that will save dozens of lives a year.
The Government has declared new regulations that will make it compulsory for all landlords to fit a smoke alarm on every floor of a rented property. This follows a major national campaign led by Cheshire staff.

Cheshire firefighters win inaugural national award
Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service’s innovative Incident Command Training Suite has won a brand new national award.
The Driving Efficiency Through Technology award is one of the LGC (Local Government Chronicle) Awards, which have seen a record number of entries for 2015.
The award category was created because technology has the potential to bring about a better use of both financial and practical resources to create a more efficient organisation.
