St Luke’s Thanks its Supporters to Mark National Hospice Care Week

St Luke's (Cheshire) Hospice has issued a message of sincere thanks to all its supporters to mark the celebratory National Hospice Care Week, 7-13 October.
Every year, hospices across the UK hold a week of celebration designed to help change people’s perceptions of hospice care, as part of the campaign led by Help the Hospices.
Andrea Laderia, St Luke’s Director of Business and Support Services, commented: "For St Luke’s, Hospice Care Week is about two things: Thanking our local communities for supporting us and ensuring that our local communities know that we are their hospice and we are here for them.
"What we are asking our wonderful supporters to do is tell people about St Luke’s and the services we offer.
"Share our news and events with your family, friends and work colleagues, show people our video to help them overcome the fear of what a hospice looks like.
Give what you can; in time by volunteering, money by fundraising what you can or by recycling your unwanted items for our shops. Alternatively, why not pledge to tell five people why hospice care counts.
"Thank you for supporting St Luke’s. We are here for you."
