"Police are appealing for witnesses following an incident involving a lorry and a pedestrian in Crewe.
The incident took place around 1915 hours on Friday 5 July 2013, in Weston Road, Crewe, near to Crewe Hall.
A male pedestrian was involved in a collision with a HGV , and suffered serious injuries.
The road has been closed following the collision and police remain at the scene.
Police are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the collision to make contact. Police are also keen to speak with anyone who may have seen the pedestrian prior to the collision occurring, and in particular a woman in a car, who spoke to a man on foot on Weston Road, Crewe around 15 minutes prior to the collision occurring.
The Lorry Driver was left shocked, but not injured.
