Dear sir,
The Labour Party have badly let down the people of Crewe. At the first Town Council elections in April this year Labour won all the seats, with UKIP second in every ward. The other parties were nowhere. After only three weeks, two of the Labour Councillors resigned complaining that the LabourGroup held secret meetings. The cost of the by-elections alone will cost the Council taxpayers of Crewe a whopping £12,000.This extra cost to Crewe residents is on top of the £442,000 gross expenditure the Town Council are planning this year. Council taxpayers in Crewe have already paid almost £30 each to the Town Council this year and this is bound to escalate if Labour have no opposition on the Council. Already the Town Council have advertised for Town Clerk at £42,000 per year plus on costs. Voters in the Crewe West Ward have an opportunity to send Labour a clear message at the by elections on the 1st of August. UKIP are a strong second place in the Ward and are the only true contenders to Labour who can beat them.
Yoiurs faithfully
Rob Handford
UK Independence Party Candidate
Crewe West By-election 1/8/13
