South Cheshire Ramblers - http://www.ramblerssouthcheshire.org.uk/ - enjoyed an evening walk in Nantwich on Thursday 6th June 2013. The walk was around the 3 mile 'Nantwich Riverside Loop' - http://www.discovercheshire.co.uk/ - and was led by Paul Boniface, who is also their Publicity Officer. The walk was attended by twenty-two people and took just over an hour to complete. The Loop starts/finishes in Welsh Row and takes in sections of the River Weaver, Nantwich Lake and the Shropshire Union Canal. After the walk everyone was invited to The Black Lion pub on Welsh Row for a general knowledge quiz organised by Paul. Paul said, "I was very pleased with this evenings turn out. It was good to see some new faces joining us for a lovely summer evenings walk. All new walkers are welcome."
