Cheshire Police will be on hand as the British Superbike Championship returns to Oulton Park this weekend.
The motorcycling event takes place from Saturday 4 to Monday 6 May and officers will be patrolling the main roads as spectators make their way to and from the circuit.
Sergeant Rachel Gallagher of the Road Policing Investigation Unit said: "Officers will be targeting any irresponsible riding or driving to ensure the safety of all road users.
"Our message to those who are attending the event is to leave the racing to the professionals on the track and don′t drink and drive."
A meet and greet event with riders and bikes is also set to take place at Chester Town Hall Square on Friday 3 May from 3-4pm.
Cheshire Police will be attending to engage with the public and promote motorcycle safety.
