The 'Audlem Lass' has started its 2013 tourist boat service: http://www.audlemlass.co.uk/ . The service started in 2011 and operates on the Shropshire Union Canal between Audlem's Lock 15 (near The Shroppie Fly Pub) and the Overwater Marina (which contains a Coffee Lounge): http://www.overwatermarina.co.uk/ .
The service is run by a team of volunteers and will sail every Saturday, Sunday and Bank Holiday (10:30am to 5pm) until October half-term.
Trips donation (each way) = £1 for adults and 50p for children. Dogs and pushchairs travel free. Proceeds go to the RNLI (Royal National Lifeboat Institution): http://rnli.org . In 2012 the service carried 3,855 people on 1,603 trips and received donations of £3,471.95.
