Win a day with the Commissioner

Do you want to find out more about the role of Cheshire′s Police & Crime Commissioner?

John Dwyer is offering the chance for a member of the public to spend a day with him on Wednesday 24 April to show what a day in the life of the Commissioner is like.

From Friday 1 March until 29 March an application form will be available on the Police & Crime Commissioner′s website (http://www.cheshire-pcc.gov.uk/). All you have to do is say in 25 words or less why you want to spend a day with the Commissioner.

Applicants will also be asked to sign up to the PCC newsletter so they can be kept up-to-date with what John is doing.

John said: "When I talk to people about my role, they ask me what I do or what it′s all about. I want to give someone the chance to find out. The winner will spend a day with me at my office on Wednesday 24 April and will witness a formal decision meeting and join me at a community meeting with residents. I will also give them a tour of the Police Headquarters so they can see how calls from the public get answered."

Full terms and conditions can be found on http://www.cheshire-pcc.gov.uk/
