Weaver Way

On Saturday 16^th March this year myself and a friend (Mark) walked part of the Weaver Way. The Weaver Way - http://www.discovercheshire.co.uk/Route.aspx?refnum=DC067&region=1 - is 40 miles long and stretches from Frodsham in the north to its most southerly point at Audlem and includes sections of the River Weaver and Navigation, the Trent and Mersey, and Shropshire Union Canals. We walked the section from Audlem to Nantwich, which was 6 miles in length and followed the Shropshire Union Canal. The route regularly features boards with local information relating to the immediate vicinity. I recommend anyone interested in the outdoors to visit the website and walk all or part of the route. It's all good for the body & mind!
