We have recently had a victim of a door to door salesperson stating they were from "claimline" a PPI company.The victim has then filled out her details and she has then 6/8 weeks later received a phone call from a PPI Company who have advised her to take out £600 in UKASH vouchers and they will give her £2400.
She has done this, given them the voucher numbers and is now down £600.
This is a scam that London Police have issued a warning out about. Residents in Cheshire are now also being targeted.
