A celebration of the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee will take place at Crewe Swimming Baths on Saturday 16th June 2012 with a ‘fun gala’ for people with disabilities. The event is open to anyone with a disability and the participants will be given a chance to compete in swimming races or have fun with swimming aids or on the inflatable structure at the baths. The event is part of the Community Games programme that is taking place across the country and organised by Seahorse Swimming Club, Crewe. The free event will begin at 6.00pm till 8.00pm and is open to people from South Cheshire. It is inspired by the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games and those who take part will be given a certificate and medal. Places are limited.
Please contact Seahorse Swimming Club Secretary, Gareth Roberts on 01270 629958 to reserve a place.
