Three people have been arrested on suspicion of arson following a fire at a disused pub in Northwich last night.
Police and fire crews were called to the blaze on High Street, Northwich just before 9pm on Friday 13th January.
There were no reported injuries following the incident and no damage to adjoining premises. The premises had been unoccupied for several months. Structural engineers will now examine the building to address any safety concerns.
Police and fire investigators are now working to establish the cause of the fire. Two men aged 18 and 24 and a woman aged 45 were arrested in the time that followed the fire on suspicion of arson and remain in police custody to await interview.
