Councillor Brian Silvester is holding a birthday celebration on the 21st. January at Willaston Social Club. During the evening there will be a prize raffle and an 'Auction of Promises' to raise money for local good causes, including Willaston Pre School and the St. John's Parent and Toddler Group Willaston.
Cllr Silvester said," I am really grateful to all those that have offered raffle prizes or auction promises or have generally assisted in the organising of the event.. We will have a really enjoyable and entertaining evening and at the same time we will be raising money for local groups that do so much for our local community. It is always good to support local volunteers who give so freely of their time to help others.
Local singer Tim Gallagher, the winner of the local Star Quest competition 2008, will provide some of the entertainment and local Willaston Chippy, ' Mick the Chip' will provide the refreshments."
