An exciting new website showcasing the best Nantwich and its surrounding areas have to offer is aiming to boost tourism in the area.
Anybody thinking of visiting
The easy-to-use website gives people a flavour of the local area as well as sections on where to stay, where to eat and the various visitor attractions.
It’s one of several i-visitor guides being produced to promote tourism in Cheshire East.
I-visitor guides are part of a new tourism information service that hopes to bring more visitors to the area together with offering tourism businesses a new way to market themselves.
They have been developed in partnership with Visit Chester and
Visit
The website was funded by Cheshire East Council and the recession mitigation fund which was set up to help businesses through the downturn.
Links are also available to other websites like www.cheshirepeakdistrict.com and the forthcoming www.cheshiremarkettowns.com which will promote the area as a diverse and attractive place to visit for business or pleasure.
Councillor Jamie Macrae,
“More and more people are choosing to holiday in this country and this site will make it easier for them to choose Nantwich and its surrounding areas as their destination.
“Increased visitor numbers will give a much-needed boost to many different parts of the local economy during these tough times.”
