Campaign to Save Bus Service to Health Centre

Local Borough Councillor Brian Silvester is supporting a campaign by the Willaston Parish Planning Group and Willaston Parish Council to save the all day bus service to the local health centre. Please see details below. Cllr, Silvester said, "Many residents do not have a car and the bus is the only way that they can get to see their doctor. It would be a shame if the service was reduced before it has had time to become established. I hope a way can be found to retain the full service with the support of the Cheshire East Council."

Ann Harding of the Willaston Parish Planning Group said, "Willaston's Parish Plan survey of residents' satisfaction with local public transport showed that a bus service to Rope Medical Centre was a top priority need for elderly and less mobile residents and those without a car."
