No ‘Pie in the Sky’ for Brampton’s

Upper crust: Mayor of Cheshire East, Councillor Margaret Simon, officially opens the first Brampton Pie Company in Crewe alongside shop managers, Sarah and David Staples.

The latest business to earn a decent crust in Crewe has received the thumbs up from the Mayor.

Councillor Margaret Simon, who is Mayor for Cheshire East, officially opened The Brampton Pie Company following a successful launch.

It is the first Brampton Pie Company franchise in the Northwest, and specialises in pies with unusual twists, such as Steak with Cheddar Cheese.

Councillor Simon said: “It’s a great vote of confidence that Brampton’s has chosen to set up in Crewe and can only add to the town’s economic growth.

“I have also become a personal fan and regularly pop in for a pie at lunchtime, as they are located irresistibly close to Crewe’s Municipal Buildings.”

The Brampton Pie Company takes its name from the village of Brampton in Cambridgeshire, where people would travel far and wide to taste their pies.
