Queens Park Progress

A progress report on the state of play at the park. Details have been announced of when work will be done and finished.

Work done so far is Dredging, Tree removal, Railings, Bandstand and Drain repair.

Work to be competed by June 2010 Bridges and Lake, New Play Area. Planting on the Islands

Work to be done by June 2011 Footpaths, New Depot Main Pavilion, Bowls pavilion, Lodges and Clock, Boer War Memorial, Gates and Coronation Walk

owell i am vivienne ruscoe used to live in crewe cheshire born there ..
moved away some years ago . now live in cornwall
when i was a young girl my mother allways took meto the old queens park in crewe and i used to take my daughter tracey ruscoe there ,crewe queens park used to be a very beautifull place to go years ago ,,so much to see and do there and all the animals you could go and look at.like the rabbites and birds ,and all the beauitfull flowers around the park there,,and the lake there
then years went by and the queens park ,strighted going down not looked after ,,and amused with young ones of today,,
im very happy to know now its getting back to how it used to be again . thats looked after and no young ones of today messing it all up again
